Jim Pease, CPA

Before joining W.H. Mayer in 1988, Jim worked in the East Bay office of Ernst & Young. He received his B.S. degree in Accounting from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga and his M.S. in Taxation from William Howard Taft University. Jim is chairperson of the UNCLE credit union and treasurer and co-founder of Community To People, a not-for-profit corporation that uses community-based loans to help local individuals overcome short-term economic crises. Jim’s areas of special expertise include estate and trust taxation planning; and business and individual taxation planning as it relates to flow-through entities such as partnerships, LLCs and S corporations. He is a lifelong resident of the Tri-Valley.
